SUMMARY:Bucks County Championships - Horspath
DESCRIPTION:This is the prestigious annual County Championships\, for athletes in the U13 age group up to Seniors. As in previous years it is being held jointly with Oxfordshire AA to create a good competition and a “buzz”. Athletes enter as individuals via the Buckinghamshire Athletics website\, but should speak to their coaches about which events to enter. Please read the prospectus on the Bucks AA website carefully for entry qualifications and other conditions. \nClosing Date for entries is Thursday 18th April (Midday) \nWhile athletes are encouraged to enter and we expect the weekend to be enjoyable\, this is a Championship\, not a competition to “give it a go”. \nNote that Steeple chases and Races 3k and above will take place outside of this weekend. \nVolunteers Required\nEach club needs to provide a number of volunteers to help out with the essential ancillary jobs at these County Championships. Please give half a day over the weekend of 11th / 12th May to support this event run entirely by volunteers and email Sally Delgado at volunteers@wycombephoenix.org. \nIf you think you don’t have the required experience – please do not worry – the jobs will not be too onerous and no previous experience is required. Sally will be a dedicated volunteer coordinator for the whole weekend to make sure you get the support you need. \nThese competitions cannot take place without your generous help so please volunteer if you have the time. Your County Needs You….
