Do you have someone competing in the YDL League matches this weekend and in May?

League matches are just like our Club champs and, as a Club, we need to provide people to help run the track and field events. You don’t need to be qualified and you don’t need any experience. You’ll even earn points for the club!!The next matches are:

  • This Sunday, 24th April (YDL Upper Age Group – U17s and U20s) at Hillingdon
  • Sunday 8th May (YDL Lower Age Group – U13s and U15) at Winchester
  • Saturday 21st May (YDL Lower Age Group – U13s and U15s) in Bournemouth

The club also needs to provide helpers for the County Championships on 14th & 15th May (a morning, an afternoon or a couple of hours – don’t worry, you’ll be home in time for your Eurovision party)

If you fancy helping to rake a long jump or getting one of the best seats in the house to watch the races (from the race stands) just let me know. I will be at most meetings and if I’m not, there will be someone to l introduce you to everything / everyone. All you need is a clipboard, a pen / pencil and enthusiasm for helping your athletes to compete.
