We have three new vacancies for official positions at the club.

Athlete Representative 

We are looking for an Athlete Representative to be the voice of our athletes on the committee. This role ensures that members’ views, ideas and concerns are heard and reflected in club decisions. You’ll help strengthen communication between athletes, coaches and the committee, promote a positive training environment and support athlete wellbeing. Welfare Officer 

The club seeks a dedicated Welfare Officer to help us maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for all members. Working in line with England Athletics’ safeguarding standards, you will act as a key point of contact for any welfare concerns, support best practice across the club, and help ensure our policies are understood and followed. This highly valued role is perfect for someone approachable, organised and keen to promote athlete and volunteer wellbeing. 

In the first instance, we would be happy for anyone who is interested to shadow the current Welfare Team before fully committing to the role. Training is available and not complex or time-consuming.  If interested, please contact admin@wycombephoenix.org

Team Manager 

We are recruiting a Team Manager Liaison, who will also take on the role of Upper YDL Team Manager. This position supports communication between team managers and the committee, helping ensure smooth planning, coordination and selection across all age groups. As Upper YDL Team Manager, you will lead our U17/U20 squads—organising teams, communicating with athletes and parents, and driving a positive team culture on competition days. A great role for someone who enjoys organisation, teamwork and motivating young athletes.
