Youth Development League (YDL)

Organisers of UK youth track and field league competition. The league is split into lower age group (U13 & U15) and upper age group (U17 & U20)  with 4 meetings for each group, which are run on separate dates.  Parent volunteers are also welcome as the club must also provide help at each event.

The Upper Age Group YDL team is comprised of athletes from both Wycombe Phoenix Harriers and Chiltern Harriers and is called South Bucks. The team is selected by team managers, who will be in contact prior to the event.

The upper age group compete in Division 1A of the Southern League. Teams in the league this year (2019) are;

Brighton & Hove AC
Camberley & Dist AC / Woking AC – Composite
Harrow AC
Hillingdon AC
Kingston AC & Polytechnic Harriers
South Bucks – Composite

The lower age group compete in Central 1 of the Southern League. Teams in the league this year (2019) are;

Chiltern Harriers
Harrow AC
Hillingdon AC
St Marys Richmond AC
Team Bedfordshire – composite
Thames Valley Harriers
Valley of Aylesbury
Wycombe Phoenix
