WPH had eleven athletes chosen to represent Buckinghamshire (and one for Oxfordshire) at the UK National Inter-Counties Cross Country Championships last Saturday 8th March, hosted at Wollaton Park in Nottingham.
The inaugural Inter-Counties Cross Country was first held in Beaconsfield on 3 April 1926.
Our athletes were:
Senior Women – Natasha Taylor and Olivia Brown (5 miles distance)
Senior Men – David Clark and Myles Caddell (6.2 miles distance)
U20 Women – Evie Burton (3.7 miles distance)
U17 Men – Rory Crichton and Joel Crook (3.7 miles distance)
U15 Boys – Finn Hayward, Dylan Leigh, Leo Bray (2.5 miles distance)
U13 Boys – Woody Rowe (1.9 miles distance)
U13 Women – Zara Tate (1.9 miles distance)
There were some strong XC performances despite the warmer than usual conditions.
